wow!! I am obsessed with how you have displayed your books - such a creative idea to make more space for books, I might have to try that!

I really enjoyed this slow, lovely essay. My parents moved us from a farm in Ohio to the sunny shores of Southern California when I was a young girl. I just landed in California out of nowhere it felt - so the bit about landing in New York as a young girl really resonated with me. I need to read your book now. :)

Beautiful writing and beautiful library. Can you tell me the title of the book in one of your pictures. It looks like a children's picture book with a girl lying reading on the floor. Thanks.

Thank you, Tracey! It's a lovely book by Claire A. Nivola called The House In The Country. Some children's books come (back) to you at the right time!

This was such a lovely read! The writing widen its net into something that wasn't just about books that we read but in art, in our homes, in our life I was surprised by and touched. Thank you for this.

This was lovely. I spied Ada Calhoun's new book Crush in your stacks. One of my favorite reads this year!
